An inviting table starts with the right tableware. The Fernando set is the result of a unique design by Martine Groetaers, who has been a designer at Flamant for over 25 years, and European artisanship from Italy. The collection is made of stoneware, a ceramic material with fine-grain clay, which is a lot stronger than everyday earthenware.
Stoneware is made from a precious type of clay, fired at temperatures of 1150 to 1350°C. In the process, the surface of the material vitrifies, making it impermeable to liquids. The high temperatures and special firing process result in a strong final product that is microwave and dishwasher safe, but also in unique items: every plate is different from the next.
The expressive autumn print of the Fernando set turns every dinner into a feast.
